FTII also named as Film and Television Institute of India is a training institute under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of the Government of India and it was established in 1960. Film and Television Institute of India are located at the erstwhile Prabhat Film Company in Pune. The chairman of the Film and Television of India is Shekhar Kapur.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE AT THE FILM AND TELEVISION INSTITUTE OF INDIA-:

 

Those youths who are interested in joining the Film and Television Institute of India will be selected based on their scores and performances in the JET( Joint Entrance Test) in the orientation and interviews. Once any peer gets shortlisted, they will be getting their interview letters to the shortlisted candidates directly. For joining the film and television institute of India, a candidate must be a graduate of a recognized university in any stream.
